Once again, a major vendor makes an acquisition in the "remote managed services" enabling arena. Reminiscent of the Dell/SilverBack acquisition a few years ago, and the McAfee/MX Logic deal just last year, this is indicative of the major players in our industry consolidating technology capabilities in order to further capitalize on the managed services profession.
The first time I met Gary Read (CEO of Nimsoft was back in 2004) when Nimsoft (it was called by a different name back then) was just getting started. Since that day the company, under Gary’s expert leadership, has not only grown significantly but it has also re-energized the RMM platform space. Gary also built a team of professionals that are amazing to work with and I’m proud to call some my friends.
