PGM – great blog. First, I’ll say that the MSPAlliance has long believed that MSPs across the world do need a code of conduct. Going back as far as 2005, our board of MSPs wanted to create a certification standard that held MSPs to a high level of quality and care for their clients. Their work product is the Managed Services Accreditation Program (MSAP) audit. It is used by hundreds of MSPs worldwide.
Furthermore, our organization created the first and only MSP Code of Conduct to help guide MSPs in how they should be practicing their trade. Last, we have tried to bring fundamental business tools to our membership like professional liability insurance to make the clients feel safer in the hands of a MSPAlliance member.
