Richard Navarro - Director of Information Technology, Jewish Home San Francisco

Richard is the director of IT at the Jewish Home of San Francisco, a senior adult healthcare provider serving the greater San Francisco and Silicon Valley area.  Richards organization manages two sites and serves over 900 users employing the latest technologies spanning virtualization, VOIP, identity management and  enterprise healthcare applications.  Prior to Jewish Home, Richard was the director of IT Operations and Support for the Palo Alto Medical Foundation.  Richard had held IT management roles at Clinimetrics, Harmonic and St. Jude Medical.  Adept in converting business requirements into IT solutions, Richard is well versed in IT operations and security including the legal aspects of medical records and HIPAA.  Richard has a BA from San Jose State University.

Larry Dietz – Managing Director of Information Security and Legal Services, Tal Global 

And Adjunct Professor, American Military University

Dietz has over 30 years of diversified military and commercial information security experience.  Larry is managing director of informaiton security and legal services at Tal Global.  A licensed attorney in California and a recognized authority in compliance, he has written numerous articles and has lectured internationally critical legal issues related to the Internet, electronic commerce and Cyber warfare. Previously at Symantec Corporation for 6 years, Dietz formerly served in senior marketing roles. He has also held key analyst roles with Sageza Group, Zona Research and Giga Information Group. Mr. Dietz, a retired Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve, holds BS in BA from Northeastern University, MBA from Babson College, JD from Suffolk University, LLM in European Law from Leicester University and Masters in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College

Eric Ogren – Principal Analyst, The Ogren Group

Ogren’s background features over 16 years of enterprise security experience. Ogren is a highly regarded security analyst having started his own research firm and is an active writer and contributor to such publications as Computerworld and Security Decisions. Prior to The Ogren Group, for years Eric was a senior security analyst at the Enterprise Strategy Group and at the Yankee Group where he covered a range of security technologies including migration of security technologies into the network, evolution of endpoint security, consumer privacy issues, and managing security in large enterprise environments. Prior to being an analyst, has held leadership roles at Okena, Tizor, RSA Security, Digital Equipment, and Factpoint. Ogren holds a B.S. degree in mathematics from the University of Massachusetts and an M.S. degree in Computer Science from Boston University.

Scott Gordon – Vice President, AccelOps, Inc.

Scott Gordon has over 20 years of experience in enterprise systems and information security. Scott is vice president of marketing and business development at AccelOps, an integrated data center and cloud service management solution provider.  Prior to AccelOps, Scott was part of the team at Protego, the makers of the popular MARS security information management solution acquired by Cisco. Scott has advocated and contributed to the advancement of innovative products spanning business service management, event correlation, security information management, anti-malware, encryption and risk management for industry leaders. CISSP and ITIL certified, Scott has an MBA and holds a MIS and marketing degree from Hofstra University.
