The MSPAlliance Board of Advisors is responsible for oversight of the Unified Certification Standard. Annual and regular periodic reviews are conducted on the UCS to ensure that the standard is relevant, current, and cutting edge. The advisory board also performs outreach and other tasks related to promotion of the UCS to the IT channel and the end-user community. All advisory board members work for companies who have been certified and audited under the UCS guidelines.
John Burgess, President of Mainstream Technologies
John leads Mainstream Technologies with great vision and a long-term perspective. John graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. One of his proudest achievements was being one of the original founders of Mainstream Technologies in 1996. He continues to take pride as the company continues to grow and thrive after 12 years.
Born in Harrisonville, Missouri, John has lived in (unincorporated) Pulaski County, Arkansas for 31 years.
Michael Corey, CEO of Ntirety
Michael Corey, Founder & CEO of Ntirety. Michael is an experienced entrepreneur and a recognized expert on Relational Databases, Remote Database Administration and Data Warehousing. Talkin’ Cloud identified Corey as one of the top 200 cloud experts worth watching. Michael is the original Oracle*Press Author and has presented at Technical & Business conferences from Brazil to Australia. Michael is a past president of the Independent Oracle Users Group; he helped found the Professional Association of SQL Server, is a current board member of the IOUG Virtualization SIG and is actively involved in numerous professional associations and industry user groups. Michael currently sits on the executive committee for the Massachusetts Robert H. Goddard Council for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
Nicolas Geudens began his career in various business development management positions, including at Jovenko and Uptime; he then established Promad, a company to provide management consultancy services. In 2008, he co-founded Hestia, Belgium’s market leader for infrastructure managed services; he is currently Managing Partner. Mr. Geudens looks after Hestia’s management and strategic guidance; with his team, he strives for the highest level of quality and service in managed services for his customers.Mr. Geudens obtained his master’s degree in commercial sciences with a specialization in IT management and marketing at the University of Antwerp (Belgium); he followed this with several advanced courses that further broadened his business management skills.
Peter Kujawa, President of Locknet
Peter offers over nine years of executive experience working with community banks and credit unions. Prior to joining Locknet, Kujawa served as CEO of INFO-PRO Mortgage Services Corporation, in Fond du Lac, WI. Under his 7 years of leadership, INFO-PRO grew from servicing three community banks in Wisconsin to an industry leader with over two hundred banks and credit unions based in six states. Previously, Kujawa held various sales and management positions at U.S. Cellular where he specialized in revitalizing under-performing markets and entering new markets.
Peter majored in communications at Marquette University, holds a J.D. degree and is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin.
Robert J. Scott – Managing Partner, Scott & Scott LLP
Mr. Scott represents mid-market and large enterprise companies in software license transactions and disputes with major software publishers such as Adobe, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle and SAP. He has defended over 225 software audit matters initiated by software piracy trade groups such as the BSA and SIIA. He is counsel to some of the world’s largest corporations, such as Schlumberger, PepsiCo, Iron Mountain and American Express, on information technology matters including intellectual property licensing, risk management, data privacy, and outsourcing.
Julie Machal-Fulks, Partner, Scott & Scott LLP
Julie Machal-Fulks leads a team of attorneys in representing and defending clients in legal matters relating to information technology. Her practice focuses on complex litigation ranging from privacy and network security, data breach notification and crisis management, intellectual property disputes, service provider negligence claims, and content-based injuries such as copyright and trademark infringement in software, the Internet, and all forms of tangible media.
Charles Weaver—Co-Founder and CEO
Charles Weaver is the co-founder and CEO of the MSPAlliance. In addition to running the daily operational operations of the association, he writes and speaks extensively around the world on issues and topics related to the managed services industry.
Prior to founding the MSPAlliance, Mr. Weaver was an editor for an internet news organization with more than 140,000 readers. Subsequently, he led the startup of a software company that supported applications in the legal sector. Mr. Weaver has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Arizona State University and a Juris Doctorate from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law.
Celia Weaver—Co-Founder and President
Celia Weaver is the Co-Founder and President of the MSPAlliance. She directs the global expansion of the MSPAlliance and spearheaded the expansion that allowed MSPAlliance to become the international organization that it is today.
Prior to founding the MSPAlliance, Ms. Weaver successfully launched a software company that developed applications for law students. Prior to that, she worked extensively in the Health Care industry as a JCAHO (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations) and HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) Compliance officer.
