Four months ago, I didn’t even know what “MSP” stood for, let alone what it meant in the context of IT support and services. Even as recently as a few weeks ago, I wasn’t quite sure what role MSPs played in the larger realm of online backup and recovery.

The above phrase was the title of an article I read from PC World. I have to admit I laughed out loud. With all the coverage on Cloud Computing in the news, magazines and in the software world we could very much declare the Cloud has jumped the shark. I think however, that "we ain't seen nothin' yet" for 3 reasons.

Have you always wanted to talk with your printer? Probably more likely you've wanted to yell at it. Well now, you two finally have the chance to communicate, you can e-mail it. HP introduced a technology Monday that allows users to e-mail from their computer or mobile app directly to their printer.

Unless you're living under a rock I'm sure you heard that access to Intuit's online products went down on Wednesday. A lot of small business owners were and are very upset. An online forum that Intuit has was filled with messages ranging from mildly upset to screaming diatribe.

I'm getting a briefing from Wanova.com on their desktop virutalization technology. What's pretty cool is the obvious utility this technology has to the MSP community. It's not just playing a backup role for MSPs and their clients, but it also can standardize the client dekstop environment to allow for quick redployment if something should happen to the device.
